Instructions

1. Remove the backing from a picture frame of your choice. The backing now serves as your base.
2. Cut your threads so that they are about 5 cm longer than the length and width of your base. You can gradually determine how many threads you need.
3. Now stick a strip of double-sided tape along the top edge on the backside of your base.
4. Now stick about 2.5 cm of the long threads onto the adhesive strip. Repeat the same process on either the right or left side.
5. Next, turn your base over and start weaving the threads together. Try not to imitate a pattern. Create your own pattern by placing the threads randomly and alternately over each other.
6. Stick the threads firmly with another piece of adhesive tape onto the opposite side on the backside.
7. Cut out a piece of cardboard so that it covers your artwork on the backside. Insert it back into the picture frame and place it as decoration or hang it on the wall.
