Asian wok noodles

Did you know that China is considered the second home of pasta and that pasta there has a history of over 1700 years?

Recipe idea: Asian wok noodlesFor this you will need the following ingredients:

350 g Chinese noodles (alternatively Mie noodles), salt, 1 spring onion, 1 pak choi, 3 medium-sized carrots, 300 g broccoli, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 250 ml vegetable broth, 8 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp maple syrup, 2 tsp cornstarch, 1 tsp fish sauce (organic store), 50 g mung bean sprouts, 4 tbsp salted, roasted peanuts, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Preparation

1. Cook the noodles in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.

2. Wash and trim the spring onions and cut into fine rings. Wash the Pak Choi and carrots and cut into strips. Wash the broccoli and divide into florets. Heat the sesame oil in a wok and sauté the spring onions. Add the prepared vegetables and stir-fry for 5–7 min. Deglaze with vegetable broth and steam covered for 5 min.

3. Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, starch and fish sauce in a small bowl. Add the sauce to the vegetables and bring briefly to a boil. Add the mung bean sprouts and noodles, and thoroughly mix everything together.

4. Chop the peanuts and sprinkle over together with the coriander. Season individually with some soy sauce to taste.
